Take Part, Make a Difference

The following details are a selection of events and campaigns already planned. SEPTEMBER

Saturday 4th September

Saturday 11th  September

Thursday 16th September
The Shavington Support Group is hosting MORNFLAKE OATS – a talk and demonstration by Mrs Jenny Wilson - to be held in St Mark’s Church Hall, Main Road, Shavington, commencing at 7.30pm.  Tickets £3.00 available from Mrs Shirley Bailey, tel. 665819, Inside Paradise 651991, and any committee member.

 

Friday 17th September
We will be holding our Christmas card and gift launch at the Hospice between 9am and 5pm. Please join us and be among
the first to see our new ranges. Refreshments will be available and there will be a special 10% discount on gifts (not cards) for that day only.


Friday 24th September
The Sandbach Support Group will host a concert by the Roberts Bakery Band at Sandbach Town Hall 7.30  Ticket price not yet decided.

OCTOBER

Friday 8th October

Saturday 9th October
Holmes Chapel Support Group are holding an Autumn Coffee Morning 10am – 12 at St Luke's Church Hall. Entry £1

Friday 15th October

The Crewe Support Group is holding a 60’s Evening at Crewe Alexandra Football Club. The evening starts at 8pm and will be held in the Carlsberg Suite with entertainment by the band Triple X. Tickets are £7.50 and are available from Chris Breathen 01270 213769 or Edith Reeves 01270 820715

Thursday 21st October
The Shavington Support Group is hosting a Concert by SOUTH CHESHIRE YOUNG MUSICIANS to be held in St Mark’s Church Hall, Main Road, Shavington, commencing at 7.30pm.  Tickets £3.00 available from Mrs Shirley Bailey, tel. 665819, Inside Paradise 651991, and any committee member.

Wednesday 27th October
Cashmere Sale at Tarporley Community Centre 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. On sale will be an extensive selection of men’s and ladies’ pure cashmere and lambswool knitwear and accessories, including scarves, hats, gloves and socks. All direct from one of Scotland’s finest manufacturers at hugely reduced prices. 
Also on sales Hospice cards and gifts.Refreshments available.

Saturday 30th October
Concert by Mart Rodger Manchester Jazz at Goostrey Village Hall. Concert will start at 8pm and tickets are £7.50 available from Brian Lancaster 01477 537970

Sunday 31st October
The Sandbach Support Group will hold a Hotpot Lunch At Bradwall Village Hall at 12.45 Tickets are £10.

NOVEMBER

Thursday 11th November
The Shavington Support Group is holding a CHEESE & WINE Evening – to be held at Inside Paradise, Weston Court, Shavington, from 7.00pm onwards. Tickets £3.50 available from Mrs Shirley Bailey, tel. 665819, Inside Paradise 651991, and any committee member.

Friday 12th November
The Sandbach Support Group is holding a Bingo Extravaganza at Sandbach Town Hall.

Saturday 20th November
The Winsford Support Group
are holding their Annual Autumn Fair on Saturday 20th November 2010 at The Lifestyle Centre in Winsford, between 10am and 2pm
Don’t miss this  lovely opportunity to support your local Hospice, lots of wonderful stalls including, jewellery, Body Shop, crafts, cards, cakes, books, even Christmas Cards and gifts. Also a chance to have a look around ‘Luke’ our Routemaster London Bus, lovingly restored by Bentley Motors. The draw for the raffle car will be held at the fair – your last chance to buy your tickets – it could be yours! Free Admission and refreshments available. Wednesday 24th November
SINGING FOR PLEASURE - Christmas Charity Concert.

All three of Sir John Deane’s choirs will be combining on Wednesday 24th November at 7.00pm, to stage a charity Christmas concert which will be held in the theatre at the Grange School Theatre, Hartford, Northwich.  Proceeds from the concert will go to St. Luke’s Hospice.
